Students & 20s @ Christ Central

We love Manchester and Salford.  And we believe that people aged 18-30s are especially well placed to influence the culture around them with the good news of the gospel.

Our Sunday morning meetings take place at the famous Comedy Store right in the heart of the city.  And here in the heart of this great city, we want to help all our students and 20s become part of a thriving community, with Jesus Christ at the centre.

Follow us on Twitter and join our Facebook group to find out news about upcoming events.

We also have regularly updated blogs specifically written for students & 20s in mind:

Don't be a David Cameron Christian
Those of you who read the news may well remember some comments made by David Cameron before Christmas. The Prime Minister described himself as a “committed” but only “vaguely practising” Christian who was “full of doubts” around theological issues. More ...

New student?

Over 90,000 students call Manchester or Salford their home.  University is an exciting and life-forming time, and we aim to help all of our students understand their identity and be released into leadership

If you are one of the growing student community in Manchester and Salford, or are planning to be, there is plenty of stuff to get involved with, including:

  • Sunday lunch - we eat together after every Sunday meeting, either in homes or in venues across the city.  This is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
  • Adopt-a-student - every student can be 'adopted' by someone in the church who will feed you, offer practical support when you need it, and make sure you are eating your 5-a-day.  All with the added bonus of a comfy sofa.
  • Midweek groups - Church life is more than just Sunday mornings.  Our midweek groups are a great opportunity to get to know other students at Christ Central better.

Directions from campus can be found at the bottom of the page.

If you're moving to Manchester or Salford to study and want to find out more, fill in the contact form below and someone from our student team will be in touch.

Students and 20s weekend away

Our last two students and 20s weekends away were so successful, we thought we'd do another.  This time, we will be heading to the beautiful countryside in Shropshire on 3 - 5 February 2012 for a weekend of fun, relaxing, worshiping and learning together.

If you would like more information about the students and 20s weekend away, please fill out the contact form below and someone from our team will be in touch.
